Responsibilities
- Lead and manage regional marine operations and personnel to ensure efficient and safe service delivery.
- Oversee vessel scheduling, utilization, maintenance, and repairs to maximize operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory programs including ISM, SMS, ISO, and VMP standards.
- Manage regional budgets, forecasting, and financial planning to meet organizational objectives.
- Serve as the Regional Qualified Individual and Incident Commander during emergency response situations.
- Represent the company in regulatory discussions, customer relations, and labor negotiations.
- Drive employee development initiatives, performance management, and staff retention strategies to cultivate a motivated and skilled team.
- 15 years of marine operations experience, including leadership roles in maritime settings.
- Maritime Academy education or relevant college degree preferred.
- U.S. Coast Guard Master or Mate license highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of maritime regulations, vessel operations, and labor agreements.
