This field-based role offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive sales professional to develop new business, nurture existing client relationships, and deliver innovative flow control solutions.
Responsibilities
- Promote and sell a comprehensive portfolio of valves, actuators, and control products within the assigned territory.
- Prospect for new customers and expand relationships with existing clients through on-site visits and solution-based selling.
- Understand customer applications, processes, and needs to recommend appropriate product solutions that enhance efficiency, reliability, and value.
- Achieve and surpass sales targets by effectively managing accounts and territory.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to strengthen brand presence and network.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering strongly preferred; Business or related fields considered, or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience selling valves, controls, or related industrial products is preferred.
- Experience in HVAC and/or Automatic Temperature Control markets is highly desirable.
- Proven outside or field-based industrial sales experience.
- Solid understanding of fluid handling equipment, including valves, actuators, and controls.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to manage multiple accounts.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and proof of auto insurance are required.
- Willingness to travel approximately 20% with occasional overnight trips, including to Houston, Texas for training.
