Responsibilities
- Operate all types of mobile cranes and boom trucks up to 150 tons capacity with a focus on safety and compliance.
- Conduct detailed inspections of cranes, boom trucks, and forklifts, assisting with report documentation.
- Perform minor repairs and routine maintenance to ensure equipment is functioning optimally.
- Support safety initiatives by actively participating in behavioral audits, Job Safety Analyses (JSA’s), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Near Miss Reporting, and environmental compliance efforts.
- Assist rigging procedures, interpret load charts, and conduct load testing to guarantee safe lifts.
- Participate in safety meetings, training, and team activities fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high safety standards.
- Contribute to a high-performance team environment by demonstrating leadership, initiative, and a strong safety ethic.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience operating large mobile cranes (150 tons or greater), boom trucks, and forklifts within an industrial or construction environment.
- Proven competence in rigging, load chart interpretation, and crane load testing.
- Hands-on experience with preventative maintenance, equipment inspections, and cable reeling.
- Ability to effectively read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Strong safety awareness with a reliable work record, capable of working flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and overtime in a 24/7 operational setting.
- Must pass a physical exam, including assessments for color recognition and depth perception.
- Preferred qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, and a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
