This role is responsible for ensuring contractors operate in full compliance with contractual requirements, project specifications, and established standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce contractor compliance with contract terms, scope, and technical specifications
- Review construction activities to ensure alignment with deliverables, timelines, and quality standards
- Conduct contract audits to identify gaps, risks, and non-conformance issues
- Partner with project management and construction teams to resolve compliance concerns
- Track and document contractor performance, including deviations and corrective actions
- Support change management processes, including scope changes, RFIs, and contract modifications
- Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and company policies across all project activities
- Provide regular reporting on contractor performance and overall compliance status
- 5 years of experience in contract conformance, compliance, or construction oversight
- Experience supporting pipeline and/or facilities construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, scopes of work, and execution processes
- Background in midstream, oil & gas, or energy infrastructure projects preferred
- Ability to identify risks and proactively resolve compliance issues
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting capabilities
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements for pipeline construction
- Experience with contract management systems or project controls tools
- Background in construction management, project engineering, or contract administration
