The ideal candidate will possess an established network and credibility to engage decision-makers at some of the industry’s largest organizations, focusing on long-term strategic partnerships rather than transactional sales.

Responsibilities

  • Identify upcoming capital projects, maintenance programs, waterfront improvements, dredging opportunities, and marine infrastructure projects.

  • Represent the company at industry conferences, customer meetings, networking events, and trade associations.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities and provide regular market intelligence.
  • Focus on developing long-term strategic partnerships rather than solely short-term sales.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, strategic sales, or account management within the energy sector.
  • Proven success in developing business with major energy companies and existing relationships within oil & gas, LNG, refining, petrochemical, or marine terminal sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and develop large capital project opportunities.
  • Strong executive presence with experience engaging senior leadership and technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Preferred backgrounds include experience with EPC contractors, industrial or marine construction, offshore services, engineering consulting, port infrastructure, heavy civil construction, or environmental services.
  • Candidates with a successful track record selling services involving capital projects, EPC services, marine infrastructure, waterfront construction, ports & terminals, offshore support, dredging, LNG facilities, refinery expansions, or petrochemical facilities are highly desirable.
