Heavy Equipment Operator

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in supporting our operations by performing a variety of tasks that ensure efficiency and productivity on-site. The ideal candidate will be proactive, safety-conscious, and able to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Duties

• Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently according to established guidelines.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed, ensuring proper handling techniques are used.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to promote workplace safety.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and meet production goals.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to the role.

Experience

• Previous experience in a labor or operator role is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated candidates.
• Familiarity with operating heavy machinery is a plus.
• Strong understanding of safety practices in an industrial setting is essential.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• A valid driver's license may be required depending on job responsibilities.

Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
