We are a growing employee benefits brokerage seeking an experienced Employee Navigator Specialist to assist with employer group implementations, benefits administration setup, carrier connectivity, and ongoing platform management.

About the Role
The Employee Navigator Specialist will work directly with our agency to build and maintain employer groups within the Employee Navigator platform. Responsibilities will include new group implementations, open enrollment setup, benefits administration configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing platform support.
We are looking for someone who understands both the technical side of Employee Navigator and the practical realities of employee benefits administration.
Responsibilities
- Build and configure employer groups within Employee Navigator
- Set up medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefit plans
- Configure employee eligibility rules, waiting periods, classes, and contribution structures
- Create and manage open enrollment events
- Configure employee onboarding and life event workflows
- Establish and maintain carrier connections and EDI feeds
- Coordinate payroll integrations and data synchronization
- Audit enrollment data for accuracy and completeness
- Troubleshoot enrollment, eligibility, and integration issues
- Assist with renewals, benefit plan changes, and ongoing maintenance
- Provide best-practice recommendations to improve workflows and efficiency
- Work collaboratively with agency staff to meet implementation deadlines and service standards
Qualifications
- Extensive hands-on experience with Employee Navigator
- Prior experience supporting employee benefits brokers, agencies, or consulting firms
- Strong understanding of group health and employee benefits administration
- Experience with carrier feeds, EDI connections, and payroll integrations
- Knowledge of eligibility rules, enrollment processes, and benefits administration workflows
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Employee Navigator certification or formal training
- Experience managing multiple employer groups simultaneously
- Familiarity with major medical carriers and ancillary benefit providers
- Experience with ACA-related eligibility tracking and benefits administration processes
Compensation
Compensation is flexible and may be structured as:
- Hourly consulting rate
- Per-group implementation fee
- Ongoing monthly support arrangement
- Project-based pricing
