About the Job
Hashbury Brand Managers are experts at planning and executing brand strategies, building strong and lasting partnerships, maintaining acceptable AR levels, and driving growth within their assigned market. As a Brand Manager, you will focus on obtaining new partner accounts and expanding relationships with existing partners using the Brand Playbook and resources. Hashbury Brand Managers oversee all aspects of the brand management cycle, including pricing negotiations, marketing/merchandising initiatives, AR collections, in-store promotions, event scheduling, educating budtenders and end-consumers, and order fulfillment. People who can influence change, make a difference, and effectively communicate to all walks of life will excel in this role.

Summary
Brand Ambassadorship:
Serve as a brand ambassador by embodying our company's values and mission in all interactions with clients, partners, and the community. Promote our products through various channels, including events, trade shows, and community outreach.
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with dispensaries, retailers, and industry stakeholders, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and preferences.
Marketing Initiatives:
Execute local marketing campaigns, promotions, and events that increase brand visibility and drive consumer engagement.
Sales Initiatives:
Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management on trends, challenges, and opportunities. Identify and pursue new sales opportunities and partnerships to expand the brand's customer base and reach. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the brand's product offerings, including strains, consumption methods, features, and benefits, and train the sales team accordingly.
Responsibilities
Drive Sales & Market Share Growth
- Develop and implement quarterly market plans
- Analyze sales trends and store inventory to advise the purchasing team on optimal stock levels, ensuring zero stock-outs
- Creatively influence purchasing teams and store advocates to onboard new and additional SKUs
- Strategically assess store promotional needs and execute promotions with the highest ROI
- Schedule events and customer appreciation demos to educate end-consumers and budtenders
- Organize budtender education sessions to foster advocates and influence sales
- Review online marketing assets to ensure the latest, highest-quality images are displayed
- Influence in-store merchandising and marketing opportunities to position ourselves as a premier partner, ensuring the latest media kit is shared with the right stakeholders
Business Development
- Spend time prospecting for new business and closing deals
- Prioritize pipeline management to meet saturation targets
- Creatively solve problems and address objections
- Negotiate pricing and terms with potential partners
Accounts Receivable
- Effectively communicate with accounts about upcoming, overdue, or past-due invoices, and set collection timelines in collaboration with the Director of Sales
- Ensure timely processing of credit memos
- Complete weekly and daily administrative tasks
- Manage all sales-related activities, including route planning based on meetings, sample drops, and action items
- Monitor competitive activity and report insights in a timely manner
- Stay informed of competitor products, services, and internal developments
- Collaborate daily with finance, inventory, and distribution teams for proper planning and execution
- Provide internal feedback on marketing assets, competitors, and innovations to the Hashbury team
Additional Requirements
- Up to 80% travel within the territory
- Flexibility to perform additional duties and activities as needed, with or without notice, some nights and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years of sales and account management experience; experience in the cannabis or alcohol industry preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly motivated, results-driven, and detail-oriented
- Strong time management, organization, and prioritization skills with a positive attitude
- Problem solver capable of thriving under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to create and deliver tailored presentations
- Reliable transportation for daily visits
- Must be 21 or older, per state regulations
