Overview
We are seeking a motivated Production Line Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. Focusing on minimizing downtime, improving performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, repair, install, and maintain production equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Record and document performed maintenance.
- Monitor performance metrics.
- Support Quality and Engineering with root cause analysis and trials.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts.
- Assist in adherence with company, state, and federal regulations.
- Ensure safety standards.
Qualifications
- 3 years maintenance experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills (mechanical, electrical, motion control, Human-Machine Interfaces).
- Knowledge of 3-phase power and digital multimeter use preferred.
- Experience with pneumatics; inkjet/laser marking a plus.
- Familiarity with ISO9001 and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Education:
- High School or GED (Required)
- Technical certificate or Associate degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift up to 75 lbs. Work around moving machinery and varying temperatures.
