Brand Business Developer
Location: Houston - The Woodlands
Reports to: Marketing Manager

Mission:
Develop the brand onboarding process to ensure portfolio growth, profitability, and positioning, while securing alignment between global strategy and local execution.
Responsibilities:
- Define and lead the brand and portfolio strategy, aligned with market objectives based on ethnic origins, with the goal of achieving crossover within both the Hispanic and mainstream markets.
- Design and execute annual marketing plans focused on brand positioning and development across geographies, ensuring growth, profitability, and market share, in alignment with each brand’s marketing teams.
- Drive product development and innovation, from concept to commercial execution, ensuring differentiation and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate go-to-market, distribution, and pricing strategies, ensuring availability, visibility, and consistency across all channels.
- Oversee in-store execution, supporting the management of POP materials, promotions, and planograms alongside the Trade and Sales teams.
- Monitor brand performance and KPIs by analyzing sales, distribution, profitability, and brand-health indicators, translating market data insights (IRI, Nielsen) into actionable recommendations.
- Manage relationships with multinational partners and suppliers, ensuring collaboration, compliance, and shared results.
- Optimize marketing investments and budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and return on investment (ROI).
- Perform other duties related to the role.
Desirable Knowledge: Strong understanding of brand marketing, portfolio management, innovation, and consumer behavior. Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret brand indicators, commercial performance, and return on investment (ROI). Experience in budget planning and management, integrated campaign development, and vendor management. Proficient in data analysis tools, executive presentations, and ERP systems (preferably SAP). Bilingual in Spanish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time
Education:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. A specialization in Marketing or an MBA will be considered a plus.
Experience: 3 to 6 years of experience in marketing, brand or category management, ideally within consumer goods or food and beverage companies. Experience leading product launches, campaigns, and cross-functional projects with a strong focus on results and in-store execution.
Physical Requirements: Requires sitting for a long period of time frequently. Occasionally requires walking, standing, lifting, and stooping.
Other: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, now or in the future. Bilingual in Spanish and English.
