- Review executed customer contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment under ASC 606.
- Approve revenue allocations and plans in the ERP system to ensure accurate general ledger entries and support monthly close.
- Provide revenue accounting guidance to Legal and Sales teams during contract negotiations.
- Prepare supporting documentation including revenue checklists, allocation spreadsheets, and technical memos.
- Assist with Fair Value (SSP) analyses of historical transactions.
- Support quarterly reviews and annual audits by coordinating with external auditors.
- Contribute to SEC filings and technical accounting research as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA required.
- 3–5 years of experience in software revenue accounting.
- Strong understanding of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
- Ability to meet monthly deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Master’s degree in Accounting (preferred but not required).
- Public accounting experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with ERP financial systems.
