Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review SEC filings (Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) and other regulatory reports.
- Draft financial statements and footnote disclosures in compliance with US GAAP.
- Coordinate quarterly reviews and annual audits with external auditors.
- Support monthly controller reporting by gathering and analyzing data across departments.
- Conduct quarterly variance analysis on balance sheet and income statement accounts.
- Research and document technical accounting issues and new pronouncements.
- Review journal entries and reconciliations for complex accounting areas.
- Assist with accounting for business combinations and investments.
- Execute key internal controls and identify opportunities for automation.
- Supervise and mentor financial reporting staff.
- Provide backup support and contribute to special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 3–5 years of experience in financial reporting and/or public accounting.
- Strong knowledge of SEC reporting and US GAAP.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage deadlines and multitask effectively.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Experience in a large public accounting firm
- Strong initiative and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
