Drafting Engineer

Local manufacturing company is seeking a Drafting Engineer for our sheet metal manufacturing operation in Topton, PA.

If you have a background and proven track record in…

• Create preliminary design sketches for conceptual analysis

• Create engineering drawings and designs for production and manufacturing

• Estimate material and production costs for designs

• Programming Punch Presses and Laser Cutters for Projects

• Being organized enough to clean up files and online drafts

• Learning new software

• Sheet Metal fabrication

• SolidWorks 3D Modeling – Must Have

Then this job might be for you….

We are looking for 1 to 3 years of Drafting and SolidWorks experience. A background in manufacturing and or sheet metal is a plus.  Must be willing to work in an office environment and on the shop floor. If you have a 2-year Technical Drafting degree or a 4-year Drafting degree, let’s talk.
