Your Role: Accounting Supervisor (General Ledger)
As an Accounting Supervisor, you’ll oversee key accounting functions, ensure compliance with US GAAP, and lead a small team to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting. This is a hands-on leadership role with visibility across the organization.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee monthly cash, lease, and debt accounting; review journal entries for accuracy
- Review account reconciliations, validate balances, and resolve discrepancies
- Supervise preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements, explaining variances
- Manage unvouchered liabilities in collaboration with purchasing
- Monitor staff performance, set goals, and provide feedback and recognition
- Supervise JDE fixed asset accounting processes and ensure compliance with US GAAP
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 4 years of accounting experience; prior supervisory experience preferred
- Experience with JD Edwards ERP strongly preferred
- CPA designation a plus (not required)
