Dental Assistant

Location: The Healthy Smile Center - Ashtabula, OH 44004

The Healthy Smile Center is looking for a motivated, reliable Dental Assistant to join our team in Ashtabula, OH. You will work with dentists offering a broad range of services in a relaxed, supportive atmosphere. We are looking for someone who has a strong commitment to patient care, takes pride in their work, and is eager to support our dentists in providing excellent dental services.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Take and process dental radiographs in full compliance with Ohio state regulations
• Ensure patient comfort and provide support throughout dental treatments
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the dental team
  
  
  

Qualifications

• State of Ohio Dental Radiographer's Certificate required
• Current CPR Certificate required
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a dental assistant preferred
• Proficient in four-handed dentistry techniques
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Self-motivated and eager to learn and grow professionally
