Position Summary: The Dental Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the dentist and clinical team by delivering excellent patient care, maintaining efficient clinical flow, and helping create a comfortable experience for every patient.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
- Preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
- Taking dental radiographs (per state guidelines)
- Ensuring proper infection control and sterilization protocols
- Charting and documenting treatment accurately
- Following all infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols
- Educating patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment
- Working collaboratively with the dental team to support daily operations
Qualifications:
- Dental Assistant certification or equivalent experience preferred but not required
- Radiology certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and team-first mindset
