Construction Laborer

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including layout and safety measures
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as concrete cutting, finishing, and formwork construction
• Mix, pour, and finish concrete for various structures, ensuring proper placement and smooth surfaces
• Install storm, sanitary, and water pipe.
• Follow instructions of foreman to execute drawings tasks accurately
• Support masonry work , using a shovel, laying pipe, running heavy equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations to maintain a secure environment

Requirements

• Previous experience working on construction projects not needed, willingness to learn is essential
• Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques and safe operation of heavy equipment when necessary
• Strong understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, operate power tools, and work on-site for extended periods.
• Must have reliable transportation

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
