We’re looking for a Sheetfed Press Operator to join our team! In this role, you will operate and maintain multicolor sheetfed printing presses to produce high-quality 4-color and up to 8-color printed images. Experience with Komori and Heidelberg presses is preferred. You’ll also ensure all safety, quality, and production standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor multicolor sheetfed printing presses through full production runs.
- Perform make-ready duties, including hanging plates, bringing jobs into register, and adjusting color.
- Review job jackets, production schedules, and gather required materials before each run.
- Conduct quality checks during runs for color, register, and overall print quality.
- Maintain accurate production, paper, and ink usage records, including skid tickets and counts.
- Keep press and surrounding work areas clean and organized.
- Assist with press maintenance, lubrication, minor repairs, and preventative maintenance activities.
Preferred Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience operating a multicolor sheetfed printing press.
- Strong ability to accurately see and distinguish color variations.
- Mechanical aptitude for press adjustments and minor repairs.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented.
Work Schedule:
- 2x2x3 - 6am to 6pm
- Sunday to Thursday - 10pm-6am
- Monday to Thursday - 6pm-4am
