Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor UV coating and lamination equipment (Royal Zenith, Steinman, and Sakurai) to meet production, quality, and safety standards.
- Set up presses, including rollers, UV lamps, feed boards, and coating materials per job specifications.
- Read and interpret job tickets to ensure accurate production and material usage.
- Mix and prepare UV coatings and maintain proper gloss or matte finishes without over-curing.
- Perform routine quality checks throughout production and report defects or equipment issues.
- Load finished products properly to prevent damage or sticking.
- Maintain accurate production records and assist during machine downtime or minor mechanical adjustments.
- Clean and maintain equipment and work areas, supporting preventative maintenance and safety practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating UV coating and lamination presses (Royal Zenith, Steinman, Sakurai preferred).
- Strong understanding of the UV coating process from setup through completion.
- Ability to accurately mix and prepare coating solutions.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality.
- Dependable, adaptable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Frequent bending, twisting, and standing for the entire shift.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Available Work Schedule:
- 2nd Shift - Monday to Friday 2pm to 10pm
- 3rd Shift - Sunday to Thursday 10pm to 6am
