Position Summary: Perform venous puncture, skin punctures (for bleeding time only), finger sticks for in-patients and out-patients. Perform clerical duties as assigned. Process specimens and delivers to different sections of the laboratory. Perform messenger duties of specimens.Qualifications/Requirements EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent. Required licensures/certificationsPhlebotomy Certification a must.Phlebotomy Registry preferred.Current BLS CertificationSkills and AbilitiesAbility to perform venous punctures, skin punctures, and finger sticks.Ability to work with computers.Good interpersonal and communication skills.ExperienceMinimum 1 year experience as a phlebotomist in a physician office or hospital setting preferred.
Salary : $30 - $35
