Restaurant Server

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality service, assisting guests with menu selections, and maintaining the overall ambiance of the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests promptly upon arrival, providing a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders while offering recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Deliver orders to tables in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
• Manage multiple tables efficiently, demonstrating excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
• Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
• Address any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally to enhance their dining experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for guests.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain high standards of hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn about menu items to assist guests effectively.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
