Job Summary
The Part-Time Bowling Alley Floor Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and presentable bowling areas while providing hands-on assistance to customers on the bowling floor. This position focuses on the overall guest experience, lane upkeep, cleaning, and supporting daily bowling operations.
Duties
- Maintain clean and organized bowling lanes, seating areas, tables, and surrounding floor areas
- Clean and sanitize bowling shoes, tables, seating, and other frequently used areas
- Sanitize and maintain bowling balls
- Monitor bowling lanes and assist customers with basic lane or equipment issues
- Reset and maintain bowling areas between groups and as needed throughout the shift
- Assist with keeping walkways and work areas clear of trash, spills, and other hazards
- Respond promptly to spills, broken equipment, or other conditions requiring attention
- Assist with setting up and cleaning up for birthday parties, tournaments, and other events
- Restock supplies and notify management when additional supplies or maintenance are needed
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service while working throughout the bowling area
- Follow all company safety, cleaning, and operating procedures
- Work cooperatively with other employees and assist with general facility needs as directed by management
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to frequently bend, reach, push, pull, and lift
- Ability to lift and carry bowling equipment up to 50 pounds and supplies as required
- Ability to safely work around bowling lanes, machinery, and moving equipment
- Ability to perform cleaning and maintenance-related tasks throughout the shift
Position Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Food Handlers (Must be obtained upon hire)
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to help customers
- Ability to follow instructions and established safety procedures
- Previous bowling alley or customer service experience is helpful but not required
Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
