Working As a Teacher With CORA, You Will
- Provide remedial, diagnostic, or consultative services to students, parents, and school personnel.
- Instruct pupils in small groups for the purposes of academic support, to assist them in achieving grade level classroom performance especially in the areas of reading and math
- Adhere to agency guidelines and requirements concerning caseload management and accountability.
- Participate in all necessary inter-disciplinary functions, including regular meetings and consultation with other members of the CORA school services team.
- Establish appropriate groups and schedule instructional time efficiently.
- Monitor educational growth with established objectives as identified on student’s Learning Plan.
- Complete all required documentation in an accurate and timely manner
- Make appropriate referrals for children needing additional services.
- Generate written progress reports as required.
- Bachelor’s degree from a certifiable teaching program.
- Pennsylvania teachers certificate in Elementary Education, Reading Specialist, Math or Special Education.
- Solid working knowledge of the field.
- Wilson Certified a plus.
