CORA’s Clinical Services Division is currently seeking Full-time Behavioral Health Technicians - ABA (ABA-BHTs) who are available to work with children between the hours of 8:00 am - 6:00 pm. Compensation
- $16.83/hour with HS Diploma
- $17.96/hour with BA Degree
In addition, as an after school Behavioral Health Technician - ABA, your duties will include:
- Foster a therapeutic relationship with clients, supporting their needs and addressing their goals in home, school, and community settings.
- Implement ABA interventions best matched to the individual to help them achieve the goals delineated in their treatment plan.
- Collect behavioral data as directed by an ABA clinician to assist in the client's development of necessary skills.
- Provide behavior management and support, including prevention and de-escalation, to improve the client's behavioral functioning.
- Participate in regular supervision meetings to ensure treatment strategies are effectively implemented.
- Document client service delivery consistently in a complete and timely manner.
- Participate in mandatory training and competencies assessments to ensure quality of care.
- At least one year of professional experience providing behavioral health services or related work with children.
- Bachelor's degree in a behavioral health field preferred (ex., ABA, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Education)
- With a High School diploma or equivalent, additional on-the-job training is required.
- Understanding of behavior modification theory and implementation of interventions is a plus.
- 40-hour RBT Training before or upon hire required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally with people with various roles and backgrounds.
- Ability to form effective working relationships with peers.
- Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, problem-solve, and follow through on areas of assigned responsibility.
- Ability to accept feedback and respond proactively to supervision.
- Strong attention to detail, especially in recording/collecting data.
