Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Engage with customers, taking orders, providing recommendations, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Operate the POS system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
- Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies; restock as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food and beverage service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during events or busy periods.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience is preferred; catering or banquet experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of various drink recipes and the ability to mix cocktails accurately.
- Strong math skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently.
- A background in hospitality or food service is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer interaction.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
