What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intern, Financial Planning position at Copyright Clearance Center?
The Finance Intern will be part of the Finance team and gain relevant and meaningful experience via hands-on training and learning within the following groups: Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A). Sales Operations, and Contract Administration. This is a Hybrid, 6-month position (one day in the office per week after the first week of training) beginning January 2026 and run through June 2026. The position is Monday through Friday, at 35 hours per week.
What you will be doing:
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual internal reporting process to business partners across organization
- Test workflow and processes within budget software, Planful
- Document process gaps and validate, as needed
- Data gathering, input and quality review within (i.e. Research and Development Spend)
- Support enhancement of financial reporting using visualization tools (i.e. Power BI and Planful Dashboards)
- May be accountable for other results and activities as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must have completed at least one year of college
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Environment and basic knowledge of: Excel, Work and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and process documentation
- Willingness and motivation to learn and be part of team focused environment
