Copperweld is looking for a driven, dedicated Inside Sales professional to support our outside sales team for our Building Wire segment! Our team is growing, and this Inside Sales position will devise and deliver sales activity plans, including territory and strategic planning and internal and external customer engagement. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, brings a "customer first" mentality, and works effectively cross-functionally to ensure customer needs and expectations are met. This role reports to the Inside Sales Manager – Building Wire to ensure alignment with objectives and customer care. This position is hybrid, based in Brentwood, TN.

WHAT We Need You To Do

- Strategically quote to meet and exceed sales targets by maximizing market share and profits.
- Drive client engagement and manage customer relations.
- Multi-task while maintaining accurate sales and pipeline data.
- Adapt to ever-changing market expectations and objectives.
- Work closely with Outside Sales Territory Account Managers to ensure customer requirements and expectations are clearly defined, understood, and achieved.
- Monitor sales trends and develop action plans/recommendations for leadership.
- Learn our products and their applications, and seek out opportunities to grow that knowledge.
- Occasionally attend trade shows and network to promote our products and stay current on competitive trends.
- Perform needs assessments to identify differentiation and uncover potential business opportunities.
- Build relationships with relevant industry organizations — suppliers, customers, and manufacturers of complementary products.
- Process customer material returns, ensuring proper credit/exchange handling and root-cause analysis with corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Oversee customer account management, including quoting, daily order-entry support, new account setup, and sending customer price sheets.
- Assist Sales in gathering, updating, and maintaining customer forecasts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Associate's degree with 5 years' experience, or Bachelor's degree with 2 years' experience.
- A self-motivated, adaptable go-getter attitude.

- Excellent problem-solving skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Proficiency with CRM software and ERP systems for managing customer information and order processing.
