This is not a transactional role. This team will own customer relationships, drive growth, and help position Novvia as a single-source partner across a diverse portfolio of products and operating companies.

Objective
The Inside Account Manager (IAM) plays a vital role in retaining, expanding, and strengthening a defined portfolio of Novvia Group customer accounts. Each IAM owns a book of business and is responsible for driving consistent engagement, increasing share of wallet, and positioning Novvia Group as the customer's trusted, single-source partner across our full portfolio of products and services.
Based in our Franklin, TN corporate office, this role is part of Novvia Group's centralized inside sales organization and focuses on proactive account management, strategic cross-selling, and disciplined execution supported by CRM-based activity tracking.
Core Responsibilities
Account Ownership and Growth
- Own and actively manage a large portfolio of assigned customer accounts.
- Ensure accounts are consistently purchasing and growing with Novvia Group.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand product usage and increase share of wallet.
- Position Novvia Group as the preferred, primary supplier across customer needs.
Customer Engagement Expectations
- Conduct a minimum of quarterly outreach to every assigned account.
- Maintain a structured and consistent contact cadence aligned with account size and opportunity.
- Achieve approximately 100–150 customer conversations per week across the portfolio.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for assigned customers.
Cross-Selling and Portfolio Enablement
- Identify and execute cross-selling opportunities across Novvia Group's operating companies and product portfolio.
- Initially support specific operating companies as assigned, with flexibility to expand into broader portfolio selling over time.
- Partner closely with field sales, other Inside Account Managers, and internal teams to deepen and expand customer relationships.
CRM Discipline and Execution
- Accurately log all customer interactions, activities, and opportunities in CRM.
- Maintain up-to-date account notes, contact records, and opportunity tracking.
- Leverage CRM data to prioritize outreach, identify gaps, and proactively manage performance.
Customer Support and Issue Resolution
- Respond to customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with Operations, Customer Service, Sales, and Finance to resolve issues and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Support quoting, order follow-up, and account-related administrative needs as required.
Job Specifications and Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma with 2–3 years of B2B or B2C account management, inside sales, or customer-facing experience, or a Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
- Demonstrated success managing a high-volume book of business.
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Ability to conduct high-frequency customer outreach with consistency and professionalism.
- Experience using CRM systems to manage activity and account performance.
- Customer-focused mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Preferred
- Experience in packaging, distribution, manufacturing, or industrial sales environments.
- Experience supporting multiple product lines or business units.
- Familiarity with cross-selling or portfolio-based sales models.
