In your role, you will support the Underwriting teams by:
- Developing a comprehensive project plan and timeline to consolidate four separate pages into one centralized SharePoint hub.
- Auditing and archiving outdated materials while standardizing naming conventions for active documents.
- Designing and building a SharePoint page with enhanced visual appeal and user-friendly navigation.
- Partnering across Underwriting, Product, and Training teams to gather requirements and understand user needs.
- Supporting the team with backend maintenance and data organization to assist in the decommissioning of legacy systems.
- Participating in the standard Underwriting Onboarding program to gain a functional understanding of the insurance business.
- A current college undergraduate who is a resident of Washington and/or attending school in the Seattle area.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, specifically SharePoint and Excel.
- Some web design experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage project timelines independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaborating across multiple departments.
- Comfortable analyzing complex information and organizing it logically.
- Interested in pursing a career in Product Analysis, Business Analysis, or Underwriting.
- Program Dates: May 26. 2026 – August 14, 2026
- Travel Commitment: CopperPoint is thrilled to host all interns at our Phoenix, AZ office in June and August! This exciting, company-sponsored visit will focus on team building, training, and engagement activities, and conclude with a celebration of intern achievements.
- Salary: $21.30 per hour
- Work Location: Hybrid in Seattle, WA – 2 days in office, 3 days remote.
- Time Commitment: 40 hours per week
- Benefits: The intern will accrue 0.0692 of Paid Time Off (PTO) per paid hour. The intern will be eligible to participate in CopperPoint’s matching 401(k) plan.
