Regional Manager – Northeast

We are a fast-growing testing and calibration company seeking a motivated and versatile Regional Manager to lead our Northeast operations. This hands-on leadership role blends sales and business development with operational oversight and technical work, ensuring strong customer relationships, efficient lab operations, and regional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships with utilities, contractors, energy companies, commercial clients, and industrial clients in the Northeast.
- Drive sales and business development to grow revenue, acquire new customers, and expand market presence in the region.
- Assist Operations Manager with overseeing daily lab and field operations, including scheduling, workflow management, and resource allocation for the region.
- Perform on-site and in-lab testing and calibration services as needed (dielectric testing, rubber PPE, live-line tools, etc.).
- Recruit, train, and develop technicians to maintain high service standards and technical excellence.
- Manage testing and calibration equipment, inventory, maintenance, and compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor key performance metrics, report on regional performance, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support the implementation of new processes and systems in our growing startup environment.
- Step in wherever needed to support the team, including hands-on technical work and problem-solving.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager and leadership team on strategic initiatives for the Northeast region.
Qualifications
- Must be willing to perform hands-on technician work and customer site visits to deeply understand our services and customer needs.
- Technical experience in electrical testing, calibration, utility services, or a related field strongly preferred.
- Proven track record in sales, business development, or account management.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with a hands-on approach.
- Positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Coachable and open to feedback.
- Able to operate independently with minimal oversight after the initial learning phase.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Up to 50% travel.
- Valid driver’s license.
