What are the responsibilities and job description for the Combination Telecommunications Technician position at Copper Valley Telecom?
CVT is seeking a Telecommunications Combination Technician to maintain, install, replace, and repair customer premise equipment and all types of cable facilities. If you have experience with fiber splicing, cutting terminals for new construction, troubleshooting and maintaining Central Office switching systems, and performing acceptance testing, this position could be a great fit! The ideal candidate would have over four years (8,000 hours) of experience working with OSP facilities, experience with necessary tools and work equipment (as detailed in the job description) and be able to work in varying and often extreme climactic conditions.
This is a full time, hourly, non-exempt position. If the above experience applies, the starting wage is $55.45 per hour. This is an IBEW represented position (need not be a current member to apply) and requires satisfactory results of a background check and drug screen (excludes marijuana unless applicant holds a CDL).
