Outside Sales Representative – Construction & Industrial
Copper State Bolt & Nut Company (CSBN) is seeking a driven, high-energy Outside Sales Representative to aggressively grow new business and expand existing accounts across the construction and industrial markets. This role is ideal for a true hunter who thrives on prospecting, building relationships, and winning business in the field.
You will sell to general contractors, subcontractors, building engineers, safety managers, maintenance teams, and purchasing decision-makers, while working closely with vendors and internal teams to deliver complete jobsite and MRO solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Prospect and close new construction and industrial accounts within your territory
- Cold-call jobsites, offices, and plants to generate new business
- Build strong relationships with contractors, superintendents, safety managers, and purchasing teams
- Grow and manage existing accounts while taking share from competitors
- Sell fasteners, industrial supplies, safety products, VMI programs, and jobsite solutions
- Partner with inside sales and branch teams to close deals quickly and efficiently
- Consistently grow territory revenue and meet or exceed sales targets
What We’re Looking For
- Outside sales experience in construction, fasteners, industrial supply, MRO, manufacturing, or safety products
- Proven ability to prospect, overcome objections, and close business
- Self-motivated, competitive, and comfortable working independently in the field
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills
- Jobsite experience and contractor relationships are a strong plus

Physical & Work Requirements
- Daily field activity throughout assigned territory
- Occasional lifting of product or samples up to 50 lbs
