What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer position at Copper Rock Golf Course?
- Mowing: Use motorized equipment to mow greens, fairways, roughs, and tees
- Equipment operation: Operate a variety of equipment, including tractor-driven mowers, aerifying equipment, spray rigs, and golf carts
- Maintenance: Perform maintenance on the course, including trimming, edging, top dressing, and treating turf
- Irrigation: Maintain and repair the irrigation system
- Hole location: Change the location of holes on the greens
- Planting: Plant flowers, shrubs, and trees
- Spotting: Look for problems like fungus, wilt, and insect damage, and report them to a supervisor
- Fertilizing and pesticides: Apply fertilizers and pesticides as directed
- Equipment maintenance: Maintain fuel and fluid levels, and report equipment problems
- Set up: Participate in the daily setup of the course for play
- Any additional duties requested by manager
Pay: From $17.50 per hour
