Nurse Practitioner (Case Management)

Coho Integrated Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Nurse Practitioner to join our team in support of the Air National Guard. This position will provide services to the Air National Guard Readiness Center at Joint Base Andrews, MD. The role requires a strong background in non-clinical case management and a solid understanding of the application of medical standards to support the effective evaluation of complex medical cases.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Receive patient information from Guard Medical Units or Air Force recruiters and make decisions or recommendations to close the case using applicable Air Force policy and guidance.
• Collaborate with Air National Guard medical teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in medical evaluations.
• Review and assist with complex medical cases, ensuring compliance with military medical readiness requirements.
• Case types include but are not limited to line of duty determinations, military retention or accession, commissioning, fly cases, incapacitation pay, convalescent leave, Congressional inquiries, and Board for Correction of Military Records.
• Shall utilize the following existing software programs: Air Force Recruiting Information Support System (AFRISS), Aeromedical Service Information Management System (ASIMS), Military Health System Genesis, Joint Legacy Viewer, Electronic Case Tracking (ECT), Department of Defense (DoD) Secure Access File Exchange, Physical Evaluation Board Liaison Officer (PEBLO) Account Management (also known as CIB), Aeromedical Information Management Waiver Tracking System (AIMWTS), Physical Exam Processing Program (PEPP).
  
  

Essential Job Requirements:

• Citizenship:
• Proof of US Citizenship is required to work on this contract.
• Education/License:
• Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited program with specialty board certification.
• Current, full active and unrestricted medical license in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth (i.e., Puerto Rico) of the U.S. or in the District of Columbia.
• Aerospace Medicine Primary certification (preferred).
• Experience:
• Prior work experience in occupational health and/or adult primary care.
• Experience in military flight medicine or military medical case management.
  

Position Pay Range

$130,000—$155,000 USD
