We are recruiting for a Senior Superintendent – Process Plant to join a large-scale mining operation in Sierra Leone.
This is a senior leadership role focused on driving plant performance, developing teams, and ensuring world-class maintenance and engineering standards across a complex processing environment.
What you’ll lead:
Direct, train, and develop expat and national teams to deliver to OEM and best industry standards
Drive plant reliability, uptime, and maintenance compliance
Lead maintenance planning and execution across critical plant equipment
Support Engineering Manager with technical, production, and process decisions
Run continuous improvement programmes across the operation
Solve complex engineering challenges in a high-performance environment
Drive KPIs, incident management, and reporting standards
Leadership impact:

Continuously improve systems, processes, and plant output
Your environment:
Heavy process plant including:
Crushers, SAG mills, conveyors, pumps
Materials handling and plant installations
Multi-cultural, international workforce
Fast-paced, performance-driven mining operation
What we’re looking for:
Mechanical Engineering degree
15 years’ experience in process plant / mining / extractives
Strong expertise in fixed plant maintenance and reliability
Proven leadership experience (10 years preferred)
Solid understanding of OEM standards and engineering best practices
Strong financial, technical, and stakeholder management skills
Experience working in remote or international environments
