Objectives of this Role
- Deliver exceptional, one-on-one customer service to ensure a memorable shopping experience.
- Serve as a knowledgeable brand ambassador, passionate about our products and brand story.
- Achieve or exceed individual and team sales goals through expert product recommendations and suggestive selling.
- Contribute to maintaining a visually inspiring and welcoming store environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers warmly upon arrival, offering personalized assistance to understand their needs and preferences.
- Provide in-depth product knowledge on merchandise, including features, materials, and styling tips, to facilitate purchasing decisions.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our Point-of-Sale (POS) system, handling cash, credit cards, and returns/exchanges.
- Maintain store presentation by restocking and organizing merchandise, folding clothing, and ensuring displays meet visual merchandising standards.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including receiving new shipments, conducting stock counts, and reporting low stock levels.
- Promote current sales, promotions to maximize sales opportunities and build repeat business.
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy, resolving issues or escalating to management as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive work environment for all.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven work experience in a retail, sales, or customer service role is strongly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- A friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor with a customer-centric mindset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills and proficiency with computer systems, including POS software.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 25 lbs] of merchandise.
