PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Responsible for maintaining student academic records at the campus level under minimal supervision. Process student enrollment, appointments, transfers, and withdrawals for the campus. Perform general clerical duties.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
High School Diploma
Special Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to maintain accurate and auditable records
Ability to use software to develop or maintain spreadsheets, databases and do word processing.
Proficient keyboarding and file maintenance skills
Basic math skills
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 2 years secretarial experience preferred
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Maintain student academic records and process requests for information and transcripts. Process new student records, including requesting transcripts and records from other schools through TREX..
Coordinate grade reporting process, including verification and correction of grades and preparation and distribution of report cards.
Responsible for maintaining Infosnap and EschoolPlus software.
Assist counselors in setting up enrollment appointments, meeting with new or potential families and communicating with parents and the community.
Assist counselors with the enrollment, withdrawals, and transfer of students.
Assist campus administration and counselors with the preparation of reports and student data information as timelines and grading periods occur.
Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records and other documents as required.
Enters and maintains student PEIMS data year round.
Other
Maintain confidentiality of information.
All other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directs counseling student assistants as necessary

Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals
