As a highly valued member of the Forney, TX Team, this role will support the Warehouse Manager in the day-to-day shipping and receiving operations, ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures. Foster a team atmosphere, provide vision, and demonstrate support of the company’s core processes.

As a highly valued member of the Forney, TX Team, this role will support the Warehouse Manager in the day-to-day shipping and receiving operations, ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures. Foster a team atmosphere, provide vision, and demonstrate support of the company’s core processes.
As a Warehouse Supervisor, You Will
- Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure timely delivery and quality standards are consistently met
- Lead, motivate, and develop inbound and kitting of colleagues through coaching, training, and performance management
- Manage storage selection, replenishment, and unloading activities across all product lines
- Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring full compliance with safety policies and procedures
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce turnaround time and streamline workflows
- Monitor and control labor and supply costs to meet budget targets
- Ensure proper and safe use of all warehouse equipment, including powered industrial trucks
- Review documentation for accuracy and oversee inbound and storage logistics processes
- Analyze WMS data to assess productivity and guide team performance against KPIs
- Lead monthly reporting and execution of key performance indicators (KPIs), including delivery metrics, inventory accuracy, safety, and people
- Support special projects and initiatives assigned by site leadership
- Ensure accurate time and attendance management, and payroll related policies within Kronos
- Five plus (5 ) years of experience in a supervisor or leadership role within a distribution or manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong general computer skills
- Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), shipping/receiving, and inventory control
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and develop benchmarks and KPIs
- Proven leadership skills with a willingness to lead by example and train others
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. — sponsorship is not available for this role
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field — or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bilingual Spanish
- Knowledge of Manhattan WMS
- Knowledge of ISO QMS
