Overnight Behavioral Health Specialist

The Overnight Behavioral Health Specialist is responsible for checking on patients throughout the night, interact with patients who are awake, clean, complete temperature logs, and chart audits. The Behavioral Health Specialist will provide client supervision and care as part of the treatment team. Read and implement a client’s treatment plan. Provide clients with positive cues, redirection and reinforcement.

 

Shift: 

  • Sunday - Wednesday or Wednesday - Saturday
  • Hours to be determined

Minimum Qualifications ($16.00/hour):

  • High school diploma or GED, no experience necessary.

Preferred Qualifications ($17.00/hour):

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, no experience necessary or
  • Associate’s degree plus one (1) year behavioral health work experience or
  • High School Diploma or GED plus Peer Support Specialist certification plus two (2) years of behavioral health work experience or
  • High School Diploma or GED plus Medical Assistant certification plus two (2) years of behavioral health work experience or
  • High School Diploma or GED plus three (3) years of behavioral health work experience.

Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age (insurance requirement) and possess a valid AZ driver’s license with a “clean” or “acceptable” driving record. 
  • Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment background and drug screen.
