The Office Manager performs the administrative functions of scheduling/coordinating client appointments and providing quality customer service. This position is responsible for the oversight and supervision of the front desk staff.
The Office Manager verifies eligibility and benefit packages and obtains co-pay, co-insurance, and deductible information for all patients receiving behavioral health services at COPE; assists patients with financial screenings and with obtaining/retaining health insurance benefits; for non-RHBA patients, processes referrals and prior authorizations for services in a timely manner, corresponds with patients who owe money to COPE for rendered services, and contacts patients who missed an appointment or did not make a follow-up appointment to schedule
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED plus one (1) year full-time experience in an integrated medical and behavioral health clinic managing the front desk, supervising medical assistants, and verifying insurance benefits.

Additional Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age (automobile insurance requirement) and possess a valid AZ driver’s license with a “clean” or “acceptable” driving record. An unacceptable driving record includes (but is not limited to) the following:
- more than two [2] moving violations in the last three [3] years or;
- more than one [1] at-fault accident within the last three [3] years or;
- any major violation (i.e. DUI, Careless/Reckless Driving, Drag Racing, Hit and Run) within the last three [3] years.
Other driving related violations may be considered unacceptable. At time of job offer, submission of 36 month (three year) driving record from DMV will be required. These standards must be maintained throughout employment and up-to-date driving records are reviewed regularly for current employees.
Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
