This role manages the web team, oversees the website roadmap, and collaborates across departments to deliver a high-performing, user-friendly site. They will focus on long-term development, content planning, innovation, and aligning web projects with company goals—while also bringing hands-on front-end development expertise to accelerate execution and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Vision & Planning
- Develop and own the website roadmap, prioritizing initiatives to support Paid, Organic, and Owned channel growth.
- Drive the long-term vision for the website, ensuring alignment with product roadmap, product marketing content, branding, user experience, and business goals.
- Own and oversee the website's architecture, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and alignment with business needs and user expectations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and enhance user journeys for key market segments.
- Research and propose innovative web strategies to improve website performance and engagement.
- Provide direct support for front-end development, troubleshooting, and rapid prototyping, especially in CMS tools like Webflow or other relevant platforms.
- Collaborate closely with designers and developers to implement UI/UX improvements and landing page optimizations.
- Ensure high-quality execution of visual and interactive design elements across devices and browsers.
- Use HTML, CSS, and light JavaScript to support agile updates or enhancements when needed.
- Lead, mentor, and empower the web team, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Manage external partners and agencies to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Establish and enforce SLAs for web development projects and updates.
- Oversee the creation and execution of web projects, ensuring on-time delivery and quality outputs.
- Partner with the Growth Marketing Manager (WEB) to align optimization, SEO and performance efforts with the website’s overall strategy.
- Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., content, creative, and demand gen) to create cohesive web experiences.
- Act as the primary liaison for stakeholders, ensuring project requirements and timelines are clear.
- Define and maintain best practices for web standards, accessibility, and usability.
- Regularly review and refine the website to ensure it remains cutting-edge, user-friendly, and aligned with business goals.
- Work with the Website Optimization and Performance Manager to monitor key performance metrics (traffic, engagement, and user satisfaction) to identify areas for improvement.
- Delivery of website roadmap milestones on time and within scope.
- Improvement in website engagement metrics (e.g., bounce rate, session duration).
- Stakeholder satisfaction with web projects and updates.
- Adoption of innovative web strategies or features (e.g., launch of new tools).
- 4 years of experience in web strategy, project management, or digital leadership roles.
- Solid understanding of UX design, front-end development, and web analytics tools.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and working knowledge of JavaScript for front-end contributions.
- Experience using modern CMS platforms (preferably Webflow) for site creation and management.
- Proven experience managing teams, workflows, and cross-departmental projects.
- Expertise in mapping out web content and designing user journeys for diverse market segments.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with a strategic mindset.
