Job Description
The Intern Financial Analyst for the Commercial FP&A Team will have the opportunity to enhance their business acumen, gain exposure to senior leaders within CooperSurgical and develop an understanding of the overall MedTech marketplace while improving our overall analytics and processes.

The Intern Financial Analyst for the Commercial FP&A Team will have the opportunity to enhance their business acumen, gain exposure to senior leaders within CooperSurgical and develop an understanding of the overall MedTech marketplace while improving our overall analytics and processes.
Responsibilities
- New business modeling for alternative financial programs and specific country go-direct initiatives.
- Improving the overall headcount reporting and analytics.
- Improving the business case templates used for new product introductions.
- Contributing to the presentation and analytical support for our annual budget process.
- Supporting the accounting close in partnership with FP&A management.
- Creating an onboarding package for new FP&A hires.
- Expanding regional price and gross margin analytics.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Familiarity with Excel (i.e. Pivot tables, vLookup and SUMIF)
- High level of interpersonal, written, verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in reading and writing in English
- Professional office setting
- Ability to work on-site 5 days a week at the Location office.
- This is a paid internship.
- Prolonged sitting in front of a computer
- Not required; prior Internship experience is a plus.
- Current college student, majoring in Finance or Accounting, entering their Junior or Senior year/working towards a post-graduate degree.
