Senior Electrical & Design Engineer

Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking a Senior Member of the Technical Staff to lead the design and development of next-generation electronic hardware. In this role, you will support advanced projects in processing, computing, and sensor/actuator technologies within a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment. Projects typically span 12 to 18 months and include both sponsored contracts and internally funded R&D efforts. The ideal candidate thrives in collaboration, brings recent experience with COTS FPGAs, processors, or SoCs, and can immediately contribute to advanced PCB and digital electronic system designs.

Requirements

• Security Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret clearance (required)
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required; Master's degree preferred
• 5-10 years of relevant electrical engineering experience (5-15 considered)
• Strong proficiency in electronic circuit design, system architecture, and PCB design
• Experience with high-speed digital interfaces (DDR3/4, PCIe, Gigabit serial links)
• Knowledge of power integrity and conditioning circuitry for digital PCBs
• Familiarity with FPGA firmware (VHDL/Verilog) and microcontroller programming (C/C ) at a support level
• Proficiency with tools such as Siemens Designer/Layout, HyperLynx, ANSYS, SPICE, MATLAB
• Experience with miniature electronic packaging, bare die, and chip-scale packages
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage evolving requirements
