Job Responsibilities
- Collect comprehensive patient data pertinent to health status or clinical situations and analyze the assessment data to determine priority diagnoses or issues
- Identify expected, individualized outcomes and develop a plan of care that is appropriate for the patient and the situation
- Act as an advocate for patients, protecting their safety and collaborating as part of the interdisciplinary care team
- Educate patients and their families regarding medications, procedures, and treatments, providing necessary support throughout their stay
- Ensure effective and efficient use of time, supplies, and equipment while administering treatments and interventions
- Provide direct patient care and treatment to acutely ill, injured, or recovering adults, utilizing autonomous clinical assessment skills
- Document all assessments, interventions, and educational efforts accurately and promptly in the patient's medical record
Education
- Nursing Diploma or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) is required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year of Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN) experience is Required
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or Multistate license, or able to obtain licensure prior to start is required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA Healthcare Provider) is required prior to start
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Proven ability to make autonomous clinical assessments and manage treatment protocols effectively
- Strong advocacy skills for patients, families, and caregivers

Salary : $68,000 - $88,000
