CooperDouglas has partnered with a leader in the appliances and consumer products industry to find their next VP of Finance & Accounting. This role has a clear succession path to CFO. This is a highly visible role responsible for building and scaling a best-in-class finance function across a multi-entity, global organization. Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin Chinese required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all accounting and financial reporting functions across a multi-entity structure
- Support M&A activities including diligence, integration, and financial reporting alignment
- Own consolidation process across domestic and international entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Oversee operational and cost accounting, including inventory, manufacturing, and margin analysis
- Build and scale shared services and drive automation across accounting processes
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and improve close timelines and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and manage technical accounting matters
- Partner with operations, supply chain, and executive leadership to support business decisions and growth
- Drive process improvements, system implementations, and finance transformation initiatives
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing accounting and finance team
Qualifications
- 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience with strong technical accounting foundation
- Prior experience in CPG, appliances, or e-commerce environment
- Experience with consolidations in a multi-entity, global organization
- Strong background in operational and cost accounting within manufacturing or product-based businesses
- Experience building or scaling shared services and driving automation initiatives
- Experienced in M&A including diligence and post-acquisition integration
- Familiarity with Asian markets and experience working with international teams
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese required
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams
- CPA or MBA required
This position is on site in Ontario, CA. Compensation for this role includes a base of $230-$265K Bonus & Excellent Benefits.
Salary : $230,000 - $260,000
