Rapidly growing multi-site retail company is adding a Senior Accountant to their corporate team in Anaheim. This newly created role offers high visibility with the CFO and Controller and the opportunity to help modernize the accounting function as the company scales.
Key Responsibilities
- Own high-level accounting work across three operating entities in a transaction-heavy environment
- Perform and oversee high-volume cash reconciliations for retail locations, managed centrally at corporate
- Prepare variance-to-actual analyses and support month-end close
- Work across multiple accounting systems during an ERP transition, with a planned migration to Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Partner with the Controller and CFO to improve and modernize accounting processes
- Support the company's first external audit relationship
Qualifications
- 4 years of progressive accounting experience; able to work independently
- Multi-entity accounting experience is required
- Strong cash reconciliation background; retail or multi-unit store experience strongly preferred
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and variance analysis across large data sets
- Experience with Great Plains, NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Dynamics 365 (any of these)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- A collaborative, low-key style with the confidence to speak up and bring ideas forward
- Interest in process improvement; comfort with AI tools a plus
This position is on-site in Anaheim, CA. Compensation for this role includes a base range of $90–$120K 401(k), generous employee discounts, and a structured 30-day onboarding!
