Caregiver

Job Summary: I am seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide high-quality care and support to myself who requires assistance with daily living activities. The Caregiver will ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of myself while respecting my dignity and promoting independence. Key Responsibilities: Personal Care: Assist with daily activities such as meals, bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and mobility.. Household Duties: Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation. Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship, engage in meaningful activities, and promote social interaction. Transportation: Assist with transportation to appointments, shopping, and other errands as needed. Safety: Ensure a safe environment by following safety protocols and assisting with mobility aids and fall prevention measures. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience as a caregiver in a facility or in a similar role is preferred. Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, empathy, and patience. Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) is a plus. Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Background Check: Must pass a background check and have a clean driving record. Preferred Attributes: Compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to providing the highest standard of care. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Working Conditions: Work will be performed mostly in the clients' home. Social outings to health appointments and stores are a possibility with client's vehicle. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.97 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 35 per week
