Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all daily human resources operations for the credit union
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee programs
- Lead recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts for all departments
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees regarding employee relations, performance management, and workplace concerns
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, labor regulations, and internal policies
- Administer employee benefits, leave programs, and compensation processes
- Coordinate employee training, leadership development, and compliance-related training programs
- Support performance evaluation processes and employee development initiatives
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR reporting while ensuring confidentiality
- Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development
- Promote employee engagement and a culture focused on teamwork, integrity, accountability, and membership
- Assist with payroll coordination, budgeting, and strategic HR planning
- Support audits and regulatory examinations related to HR documentation and compliance
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
- 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within financial services, banking, or credit unions
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance, and best practices
- Experience managing employee relations, benefits administration, and performance management
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
- Proficiency in ADP payroll systems
