Pay Grade: $30.00 - $50.00Hourly FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
General Statement of Job
Responsible for processing and completing work orders, installing new refrigeration systems, troubleshooting mechanical failures, and performing equipment maintenance.
To ensure success as a refrigeration technician, you should have advanced knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems, good mechanical skills, and excellent troubleshooting skills. Ultimately, a top-class refrigeration technician expertly installs, repairs, and maintains refrigeration equipment for a client with the least amount of down-time.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
Opening for service technicians that can repair HVAC and Refrigeration systems accurately. Attention to detail and quality work is expected. This is a no sales, no preventative maintenance position. We perform emergency service and are expected to diagnose and repair all commercial units.
Responsibilities:
To ensure success as a refrigeration technician, you should have advanced knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems, good mechanical skills, and excellent troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and with members of the general public.
Minimum Education and Training
High School graduate or equivalent. Five (5) years experience in HVAC/Refrigeration work. Must possess EPA refrigerant certification. Ability to lift heavy equipment required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, reach, dig, and lift up to 50 pounds. Physical exertion large part of job. Ability to work outside in all kinds of weather and for prolonged periods of time. Reasonable accommodation will be considered for individuals with physical disabilities.
