Overview Cooley’s Heating and Air, Inc. is seeking a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a wide range of HVAC systems across residential properties. This position offers an opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and technical skills in a fast-paced environment, delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units and furnaces.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
- Perform routine maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure optimal operation and extend equipment lifespan.
- Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports; ensure compliance with safety standards including EPA regulations for refrigerants.
- Operate a company van while transporting tools and equipment to various job sites
Qualifications
- No prior experience necessary; willingness to learn on the job.
- Understanding of HVAC/R systems including refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, electrical diagnostics, plumbing, and mechanical systems repair.
- Mechanical aptitude combined with hands-on experience using hand tools for installation and repairs.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
